OFR – A Forum for Trade Union Co-operation
OFR (Public Employees’ Negotiation Council) is an assignment-based negotiating and service organisation for thirteen trade unions with members in the public sector. Together our affiliated unions represent more then 573 000 members. Within OFR, the unions consult and co-operate with each other on issues of common interest, while at the same time retaining a high level of independence.
OFR has assignments within the following areas:
• Pensions and insurance schemes
• Work environment, prevention, and security
• Public finances and wage statistics
• EU issues related to bargaining
• Information and strategic intelligence
